What helps us quote accurately
The data that makes a difference
None of this is mandatory. But the more of it you can give us, the closer the first number will be to the final one.
For a heat exchanger
- Fluid on each side, and flow rate
- Inlet and outlet temperature on each side
- Design pressure and temperature, both sides
- Allowable pressure drop, if you have a limit
- Preferred tube material, or the water analysis so we can advise
For a vessel, tank or reactor
- Volume — working and total
- Design pressure and temperature (and jacket side, if jacketed)
- The fluid, and its density and corrosivity
- Orientation and any footprint or height limit
- Nozzle schedule and internals, if already defined
For a mixer
- Vessel diameter and straight side height
- Batch volume, viscosity and density
- Solids loading and particle size, if any
- What the mixing has to achieve — blend, suspend, disperse or transfer heat
