We model every unit in 3D before it is fabricated, and we animate the ones worth walking through. It means a design review can happen on screen — nozzle orientations, bundle access, jacket arrangement — instead of on the shop floor when it is expensive to change.

TEMA BEU Heat Exchanger — Manufacturer Overview

A full walkthrough of a bonnet-head, single-pass-shell, U-tube exchanger: the pass partition, the stationary tubesheet, the concentric U-bends and the segmental baffles that drive shell-side crossflow.

Why we model everything

Changing a drawing is cheap. Changing a weldment is not.

Clash detection

Nozzles that foul the support, flanges that cannot be bolted up, manways that open into a wall — all found in the model rather than on site.

Maintenance access

We check the bundle pull length, the manway reach and the bolt clearance in 3D, so “maintainable” is something we have verified rather than assumed.

Stakeholder review

Operators and maintenance staff can comment on an animation in a way they cannot on a 2D general arrangement drawing.

Fabrication clarity

The shop works from an unambiguous model, which cuts rework and questions during fabrication.

Tender support

A visual submission alongside the calculations makes a technical bid far easier for a client's engineering team to evaluate.

Training material

The same model becomes an operator training aid and a reference for future maintenance planning.
